Snow I Snow! Snow! and more Snow! Frequent comment heard around RCHS is “We’ll be going to school til the fourth of July!'’
The sijow cancelled the basketball game with Warreton, which was scheduled for Friday the 27th of January, and the sock hop sponsored by the Junior clav, which was to follow the game. Both events have been rescheduled for February 18th. * < •Panthers and junior varsity did not do so well against Handley Tuesday night. Guess we were getting out of our class.
Tomorrow night, Friday the 3rd our boys and girls will compete with Marshall on the Marshall court for a conference game. Hope We do as well as our previous game with Marshall. i
The District Nine Group II Tournament is to be played at Madison (a neutral court) on the 23rd, 24th and 25th of bebruary.
Mrs. Elliott Marshall, the former Miss Donna Hicks, toured our new high school and visited each teacher. Mrs. Marshall was die commercial teacher at RCHS two yean ago, when we were at die old building.
A breath-taking program was presented^ here Saturday night by the Choral Group from Baylor University in Texas. Memben of Chi Sigma served the entertainen supper. During the intermission of the concert: coffee and apple juice were served to die audience. Every - one seemed to enjoy the program. Sunday night during die Youth j Group sleigh riding party, Lyle JUpdike met misfortune early in the evening. He struck his head on another sled which some one had dropped on the track. He received a nasty gash over his forehead and was taken to Warren Memorial Hospital where 6 stitches were taken to close the wound.
