Handicapped Craft
Hotnebound patients who have developed skills in making craft articles now have an opportunity to realize a small income from them through the Virginia Craft Guild program of the Virginia Tuberculosis Association. •
For the first time this year, nar tional distribution to department stores from Maine to California was secured for special items through the Craft Guild program. In addition, tuberculosis associations maintain one gift store in Richmond and one in Alexandria. Many items are sold through regular gift shops on consignment. The money for the articles goes to die handicapped person making the gift
The Guild program is supported by Christmas Seal contribution* from over the State. Services are not limited to TB patients and are available to any handicapped craftsman in Virginia.
