Heart Fond Sunday
February 26th
Heart Fund volunteers will conduct a door to door canvass on Heart Sunday, February 26. Under the chairmanship of Mrs. Lester Burke, district chairmen and' other volunteers will make the canvass. If you are not at home when they call you may send your contribution to your district chairman or to Mrs. Burke at Washington, ya. District Chairmen are Hampton, Mrs. Downing Wood, Mrs. Lester Burke, Mrs. Magdaline Dearing. Town of Washington, Mrs. Milton Hawkins. Stonewall, Mrs. Joseph Pauze. Wakefield, Mrs. Paul Miller. Piedmont, Miss Shirley Brown, Mrs. Dorothy Butler. Hawthorne and Jackson Districts have been canvassed by mail. /
For the fiscal year .ending June 30, 1960, there were 21 deaths from heart diseases in Rappahannock County. Your contributions go toward research, education and community service which includes rehabilitation.
