Breaking cover at the north end of Long, the Red turned east—crossed the large body of rolling farm land that lies between Long and Round Mountain. Crossing this area. _-.the field and many hounds, pink coats adding color, presented a perfect piece of hunting pageantry. ' Reaching Round, the fox circled the mountain, turned east, crossed the farm of R. C. Brooks and went to Chappalier, taking the west side of the mountain.
From there the chase led to Aron’s Mountain, from there back to Lpng where Reynard was run to earth within 15 yards of the place where he was jumped.
