News is a little more plentiful this week. Was beginning to think that tj»e two vacuum cleaner salesmen who have been in town swept all thi news away. Anyway the ladies around town have been swept off their‘feet by them. One lady told them on her first encounter, “there’s no soap here.”, but by the next morning she was calling around looking for them and purchased the works. Another of our fair ladies informed die boys when they called that she did not want to buy a thing but would allow them fifteen minutes of her time for them to demonstrate. She, too, bought the works. They must be super salesmen. Oh well, they say it’s a ladies privilege to change her mind. t # * • * .
