If you would like to join the tour to New York^ May 9-11, contact Mrs. J. W. Coates, Sperryville.’T’a. for a reservation. The tour is sponsored by the Home Demonstration Clubs, butjrcju DO NOT have to be a member to tike advantage of this trip.
Excursion cost is $35.00 which covers transportation, hotel room and all scheduled tours. Mealsi and extra entertainment will be additional.
H. D. Federation Meeting
April 12 has been set for the District VIII Home Demonstration Federation meeting.
This year the meeting will be held at Culpeper Baptist Church beginning at 9:30 a.m. The theme will be “The Home 1861-19611” A very interesting program has been planned.
Lunch will be served at the Culpeper Fire House. Persons intersted in having lunch tickets should contact Miss Anna Ruth Barnette before April 4th.
Anyone interested is invited to attend this meeting.
