Truck Crash
A Rappahannock County School' bus collided with a truck on Route 522 at Scrabble last Friday morning. Though the two vehicles were” badly damaged no one was injured.
The 1950 Ford bus, owned by the county school board, was driven by William Arthur Carpenter. His view was blinded by children standing in the entrance of the bus, as he pulled from a side road onto Route 522, in the path of an oncoming truck. The 1959 Chevrolet truck was owned and operated by Granville Middleton Hall of Heathsville,s Va.
According to Trooper W. A* Buntin, about $1,500 damage was done to the two vehicles.
