My Responsibility
To My Country
Much has been said about the three R’s_reading and ’riting and ’rithmetic_but I think the fourth R is just as important as the bther three. This R stands for responsibility. I think, just as other boys and girls think, that one big repsonsibility is to get a good education. This helps one to meet and ' to cope with the changes that come / to our country year after year.
We should obey all traffic laws, school laws, and any other laws that would help us to become a better citizen. We should keep picnic grounds neat and never throw trash on the highway.
I believe that all boys and girls should belong to some club or organization in order to learn hpw to do things for themselves.
As it is said in the Declaration of Independence, everyone is entitled to life, liberty and the pursuit of happiness. Let’s start with life. Everyone has only one life to live, so we should make it a good and useful one. We should go to the church of our choice and support it. i
Living means freedom and freedom, with responsibility, can help us to work and play happily together. Responsibiliy is a long word with lots of meanings. I have named just a few, but 1 hope to learn and do more about my responsibility. to my country.
