Amissville Fire Company answered a call to a chimney fire at the home of Roy Jasper at Jeffersonton. No damage was done.
Rappahannock Rescue Squad has answered these recent calls: March 11 Mrs. Nalls and Mrs. Amos Clark were taken to Warren Memorial Hospital. The same day a patient was taken from Pullen’s Nursing home to a hospital and two colored men were taken from an auto accident to Warren Hospital.
March 12 Mrs. Robot Fincham was taken to University of Virginia Hospital. Last week Jake Smoot was taken to Charlottesville to a hospital. The squad also answered a call to a school bus and truck collision but no one was injured. ,
