Injured in tne crasn were uinrad Brown Leake, who had lacerations of right eye and a possible fractured nose, and Donald Brown Leake with lacerations of the lower lip. At 2:5 p.m. Sunday afternoon on Route 542 ten miles south of Amissville, two cars sideswiped and five persons were injured.

The Rappahannock Garden Club held its regular August meeting Wednesday, the 16th at 2 p.m. in the home of Mrs. E. M. Jones in Washigton, Va.
Mrs Jones gave a talk On “Nursery Pitfalls.”
Mrs. J. P. Cook won first award for an arrangement of flowers in a compote forj the dining room table.
