Milton Clay Gore, Jr. is a patient in the University of Virginia Hospital, Charlottesville where he is being treated for an acute ear infection. Miss Annie Miller Almond and Miss Mary Miller Wood spent yesterday in Washington, D. C. Sunday afternoon guests of Mr. and Mrs. D. D. Hudson were Mr. and Mrs. Fred Payne and family of Boston and Mrs. Edward Hudson. C. J. Miller is on vacation from the Rappahannock Bank. Tuesday night Mr. Miller was host for a dinner party at Bertha’s Diner in Washington, Va. Those present were Mrs. Miller,. Mrs. John Wood and children, Jenner and Dudley, Mr. and Mrs. W. C. Campbell and John and Lynn Paulson.
Mr. and Mrs. Jackson Paulson and children, John and Lynn of Newport News arrived Friday for a visit with Mrs. Paulson’s parents Mr. and Mrs. W. C. Campbell at Twinland.
Mr and Mrs. L. H. Dudley of Alexandria and Mrs. B. R. Cox enjoyed a picnic Sunday in Harris Hollow.
Thursday E. B. Cary and B. R. Cox were business visitors in Harrisonburg and were accompanied by Mr. and Mrs. M. T. Barnes who returned to their home after being the house guests of Mr. and Mrs. Cox.
