Funeral services were held Saturday at 11 am. from the Metropolitan Memorial Methodist Church in Washington, D. C. Interment was in Cedar Hill Cemetery.
The Brays bought the Norvel Anderson Farm in Amissville in 1949 and spent the summers and weekends here.
Lester L. Baily
Lester L. Baily, 68, of Elkton, Va., died early Thursday morning, October 5th, in Rockingham Memorial Hospital, Harrisonburg, Va., after a short illness.
Surviving Mr, Baily are his wife, Mrs. Della Mae Baily; two sons, Leon L. Baily, Washington, Va. and Raymond R, Baily, Elkton, Va.; three daughters, Mrs. Ruby Green and Mrs. Mary Hall, both of Amissville and Mrs. Lucille Baugher of Springfield, Va.; 13 grand children and one great grandchild. Also surviving are two sisters, Mrs. Barbara Dean and Mrs. Nettie Bare, both of Elkton; and a brother, Oliver Baily of Elkton.
A funeral service was held Sunday at 2 pm. from Brill Funeral Chapel in Elkton, with the Rev. Harold Lahman officiating. Inter, ment was in Elk Run Cemetery.
Mr. Baily was well know in Amissville, where he spent most of the summers with Mr. and Mrs. Hall.
