Last Week, the Virginia Hearing Foundation, sponsored in part by the Public Welfare Foundation, examined 960 children, second grade thhough higs school. Mr. Ralph Bradley, director of services, will be back Thursday to Tetest 81 of these childrep and to make plans to test school children for speech defects before the end of the year.
I am sure that the parents of the county join me in grateful thanks for the work of these private foundations and individuals who are doing so much to improve our children’s health and well being.
