Are Being Met
It should be brought to the minds of the public just what is being done for all school children in Rappahannock. •
The Virginia Hearing Foundation examined all school children on October 2nd. It was found that approximately 10% of the children had defective hearing. This is a condition of which most parents are unaware.
The Public Welfare Foundation has conducted and is conducting a dental clinic for school children here. The PTA has cooperated fully in both of these programs.
Through the cooperation of all citizens in this county, we may achieve the greatest benefits from these programs. We are very fortunate to have these organizations include our county in their pro' grams.
A Speech Clinic will be held in the county in the near future.
The child of today will be the citizen of tomorrow. The above named organizations will help him to meet one of the main needs of society, namely..._a healthy citizen.
