I nc Rappahannock annual 4-H Achievement Night Program was held Saturday night, January 13 at Washington Elementary School. All county clubs had representatives present with the exception of one. Flint Hill Senior Club had the best attendance.
The program consisted of reports from each club of their activities for the past year; presentation of fawards; and a wonderful speech by Rev. H. E. Nicholson.
For the Sow Chain awards were 1st Floyd Utz, $25; 2nd Jimmie and Roy Weakley, $12.50 ;f they tied with Larry and Barry Jolliffe who also received $12.50; 3rd Ellis Smith, $3; 4th Robert Grigsby, $3. Donor of prizes was Sears Roebuck & Co.
