Rev. Nicholson, a former Baj>* tist minister in Rappahannock, was born in Charleston, W. Va. and was educated at the University of North Carolina, Concord College, Athens, W. Va. and Crozer Seminary, Chester, Pa. Before coming to Rappahannock, he was Youth Director and Interim Minister at Calvary Baptist Church, Belmar, New Jersey. He served the local charge from March 1957 until September 1961. While in Rappahannock he also taught school and coached girls basketball.
