Board Qi Supervisors Approves ■
University Extension At Madison
The Rappahannock County Board of Supervisors unanimously passed a motion giving approval to the establishment of a Regional Extension College of the University of Virginia in Madison, Va., with $5,000 as the share which Rappahannock will appropriate. The other counties sharing in the purchase of the proposed site are Madison, Greene, Culpeper, and Orange. The participating counties will retain title to the building and will make its use available to the University of Virginia who will assume the cost of maintenance. Therefore the initial outlay is all that will be required unless larger facilities should be needed in the future.
