Supervisors Meet
Continued from page one proved and maximum rates for insurance on the county buildings with Rappahannock Home Mutual Insurance C'. were explained. A delegation from Sperryville PTA was present with Mrs* Nora Groover as spokesman, who requested that a public dumping ground be established and volunteered for her group to assist in locating, securing and maintaining such a dump. Many suggestions were made about stopping the present unsightly practice of dumping along roadsides and in streams. A motion was made and carried that the Board should advertise for and lease, where possible, a public dump in each district. ■ Mr. P. L. Thornton and Mr. Robert Estes of Sperryville asked that a Justict of the Peace be appointed in that vicinity and suggested Mr. C. B. Johnson for the job.
The Board bad received a letter from Judge R. V. Snead suggesting that a uniform be furpished the sheriff and that he should also be furnished a car radio hook-up with the state police. The estimated cost was about $700. It was duly passed.

Mrs. J. W. Critzer, accompanied by W. A.’ Bun tin visited ML Critzer Tuesday at Newton Baker Hospital in Martinsburg, W. Va.
Mrs. W. C. Hall spent several days this week in Washington, D. C. as the guest of Dr. and Mrs. L. T. Callahan.
Mrs. Virginia Kuhn of Alexandria was a weekend guest of fMr. and Mrs. W. C. Hall at Rose Hill, and attended the Cdrtfinnition Service ,v. Sunday at Tijt&ty Episcopal Church where her son Philip Kuhn was confirmed.
