Mr. and Mrs. C. B. Palmer and family attended the Camp Town Races Sunday at Ashland as guests of Mr. and Mrs. J. Farrell Luck. Monday, Mrs. Palmer spent the day in Lawrenceville.

Rev. J. Dabney Carr attended the Episcopal Clergy Conference Monday, Tuesday and Wednesday at Roslyn near Richmond. He was accompanied by Cary Carr who was tfie guest of Dr. and Mrs. Cary Suter in Richmond.

Sgt. Calvin B. Racer who has just returned from sixteen months in Korea with the US Army is on a 30-day leave. Hie is visiting > Mr. and Mrs. Ollie Finch am and other relatives in die county. At the end of his leave he will go to California.
