I Accidents

Continued from page one on Route 211, a 1948 Chevrolet pickup driven by Thomas William Smoot of Washington, Va., and owned by Reuben Smoot turned over after the operator lost control on a curve, ran to the left side of the road. Damage was estimated at $400 to $500 by Trooper W. A. Buntin who investigated the accident.

Smoot was taken to the Warren Memorial Hospital in Front Royal by Rappahannock Rescue Squad. He was treated for cuts on his face and head and remained there until Monday.

A Valiant sedan driven by Billy Randolph Duvall of Beal ton was damaged to the extent of $400 when it turned over at 1 a.m. on Route 211 4Y2 miles east of Washington, Va. June 17. The operator lost control of the vehicle on a,curve and ran down the bank. No personal injury was sustained
