Fund Canvass For
Rescue Squad Begin j
Rappahannock. Rescue Squad will kick-off their 1962 fund campaign with a house-to-house canvass starting Friday, July 20th.
Captain of the squad for over Ten years, Frank Huff is most optimistic about easily going over the $1000 goal. He estimates that the Rescue Squad receives 25 calls to every one call that the fire company gets at the same telephone number 675-2221. He also stated that the squad has received many commendations for their speed and efficiency in responding to these calls. This canvass is the only means they have for fund raising during the year except the private voluntary .donations.
All donations, whether great or small, are appreciated and are used to finance equipment and for operating the ambulance.
You many send your donation to Rappahannock Rescue Squad, Washington, or a volunteer will call on you at your home.

A Lawn Party wil lbe held at 7, beginning at 5:30 p.m. Willis Chapel, Huntly, on Saturday,
July 7 beginning at 5:30 p.m.! Refreshment for sale will be ham, I Chicken, hot dogs, pies, cakes, soft drinks, and ice cream.
Proceeds are for the benefit of the building fund. The public is extended a cordia linvitation.
