Mr. and Mrs. B. R. Cox entertained at a picnic Tuesday at Manahoac Lake boathouse. Those present were Dr. nd Mrs. George H. Qfvis and Joe Austin of Warrenton and Mr. and Mrs. George H. Davis, Jr. and family.
John H. Cargill ha saccepted the position of sales manager for the Recony Sales and Engineering Company of Richmond. 'He has assumed his duties there and plans to move the family before September 1st. 8
Miss Carolyn Turner spent the day Monday and Tuesday with her mother, Mrs. J. L. Turner, returnnig to Roslyn Wednesday. She was accompanied as far as Charlottesville by Mrs. Turner.
Rev. and Mrs .John Divers of Waynesboro were recent visitors in the community.
Mrs. A. M. Verner of Manassas Park arrived Wednesday for a visit until Sunday with her son-inlaw and daughter, Mr. and Mrs. Virgil Updike.
