“The fourth is like unto the first three, yet far more important than all,” admonished Ima Member. "It is, namely, Thou shalt dig into thv purse and take care of thy church pledge that the good name of thy church shall be preserved, for thy church hath its obligations to meet in summer as in winter. Verily, verily, I say unto thee, thou hast more money now than thou wilt have when thou doest return.”
And it came to pass that Mr. Church Member sent in his tithe and offering for the summer days he was gone, and the Treasurer rejoiced with exceeding great joy, saying of a truth, “There are those here who really care for the Lord’s work.”
