Mr. Sorrells To Conduct Church Service Sunday
Mr. Arnold Lloyd Sorrells of Louisville, Kentucky will conduct the service at Flint Hill Baptist Church, Sunday, May 5 at 11:00 a. m. Born in Hot Springs, Arkansas, Mr. Sorrells will receive his B. D. degree from Southern Baptist Theological Seminary in May, 1963. He holds a B. A. degree from Oklahoma Baptist University and upon graduation received the Souihern Seminary Centennial Scholarship Award. He has had experience in YMCA and Juvenile Delinquency work and for past two summers has served as counselor for the Children’s Center. His hobbies are music, mugical instruments, tennis and woodcraft. Married to the former Patsy June Shelton he has two sons, Peter, aged 2 and Denny, one year old. Mr. Sorrell is being considered for the pastorship of Washington ana Flint Hill Baptist churches.
