Several wrecks and one shooting were reported over the weekend. A single car accident occurred Saturday, April 27 on Jordons Mountain Route 211 near Amissville. Thur- j man J. Jones of Alexandria !
ran off the road, lost con- j trol of his 1957 Chevrolet I station wagon and overturned,! He was taken to Fauquier ! Hospital, Warrenton by Flint i Hill Rescue Squad and later transferred to Alexandria Hospital with back injuries. Damage to the vehicle was estimated at $600 by Trooper W. A. Buntin.
James Allen Acree of War. renton, driving a 1960 Falcon owned by Robert H. Gardiner, also of Warrenton, attempted to avoid hitting a rabbit in the road and lost control of the car, running through a fence. The accident occurred. Saturday on Fodder Stack Road, Route 628.
