At Local Church
A Dedication Service took place at the Washington Bap* tist Church, Sunday April 28 as follows: “To the glory of God the Father, to the honor of Jesus Christ, our Saviour, to the praise of the Holy Spirit, our Comforter, we dedicate these gifts.” The Sanctuary Cross, The Bible Book Marker, The Communion Table Runner, given by Mr. and Mrs. W. C. Campbell in memory of Lavinia Hamrick Carter. The Sanctuary draperies, made possible by donations from the members. The Brass Offering Plates given by Edward Moffett Jones and J. Frank Jones. The Church Walk, given by the Men's Sunday School Class. The Church Walk Light, Mr. and Mrs. Ollie Fincham. The New Church Lot, given by Judge and Mrs. Rayner V. Snead.
