Hunting Regulations
The Commission of Game and Inland Fisheries will meet in Richmond May 3 at 9:30 a.m. to give final consideration to the 1963-64 hunting seasons and regulations proposed at their March 29 meeting. The proposals, which have been advertised in area newspapers Include a restricted fall turkey season, elimination of the one week early small game season West of the Blue Ridge, and an extension of the small game season East of the Blue Fridge until February 15.
The U. S. R. R. is the world’s largest contiguous state, occupies 15 per cent of the world’s la ndarea, reaches 6,000 miles east and west, and is about twice the sire of the United States.
