John Howard of Bedford was a recent guest of Mrs. Della Howard at the .Lee Highway Hotel. Present guests at the hotel for an indefinite stay are Walter Sirvault and Roy Coates of Philadelphia. Mr. Cbates'is a brother of Charlie Coates who makes his home at Lee Highway Hotel.

Mr. and Mrs. Gene Wood were Wednesday dinner guests of Mr. and Mrs. Henry M. Keyser at Pleasant View.

Mrs. W. H. Lyne and daughter Miss Peachy Lyne spent the weekend in Richmond to visit Mrs. Lyne’s mother, Mrs. M. E. Cottrell who is a surgical patient at Richmond Memorial Hospital.

Mr. and Mrs. P. Lee Thornton spent the weekend in Staunton with Mr. and Mrs. J. Rodes Brown, Jr., and family. They were joined on Sunday in the Brown home by their son, P. Lee Thornton, 3rd, who is a student at SMA.
