Adding Class Rooms
Construction of an educational building at Amissville Baptist Church began last Thursday, July 11. Cletus Printz, a local contractor, is in charge of the new addition which will contain six class rooms. Because of solid rock adjacent to the foundation of the church, it was impossible to bujld a basement under the new addition as originally planned.
Vehicle Runt Through Plate Glass 'Window
Not apetunia was damaged--but a plate glass window was shattered Tuesday morning when Mrs. Mae Keyser of Washington crashed into the front of Merrill Motor Company here. About 7 a.m., July 16, Mrs. Keyser’s brakes failed and her 1956 Chevrolet struck the Merrill building. Damage was estimated at $300. The glass was replaced immediately.
