Completes Teachers Driver Education Course

Larry G. Bolyard, assistant principal of Rappahannock High School, has recent* ly completed a course in Driver Education held at Old Dominion College, Norfolk. The course included a program on safety and a full first aid course. Driver Education is a statewide program and is presently taught in the classroom here. A program of “behind the wheel* training is being initiated in many schools.

Two Receive Sentences

Judge R. V. Snead handed down sentences for Manuel Newman of near Amissville and James W. Knox, a former patient at Walter Reed Hospital, when the Circuit Court of Rappahannock convened Monday. Newman was convicted on charges of larceny in April and while a trustee in the vlocal Jail walked off from work detail, but was apprehended the same day. Knox, charged with auto theft, was sent to the state institution in Marion for examination and observation,
