Maurice Newton Rowzie of Vienna was a visitor last Tuesday of Mr. and Mrs. R. H. Rowzie. Miss Sandra Staap spent the weekend at Virginia Beach. Rev. and Mrs. James Harrison and family of Jeffersonton were visitors Sunday evening of Mr. and Mrs. Elliot Doyle. Mr. and Mrs. Doyle and Miss Staap left Wednesday to accompany Mrs. Milton Miller to her home in East Hampton, Conn* Mrs. Miller has been visiting Mr. and Mrs. T. W. Latham. L. H. Luttrell was a visitor Sunday of Mr. and Mrs. Russell Luttrell in Culpeper. Mrs. A. C. Latham entertained Mr. and Mrs. William Payne and son Billy and Wendell Latham at a cookout Saturday night honoring Mrs. Payne's birthday. Miss Susan Latham is spending two weeks with her uncle and aunt, Mr. and Mrs. W. H. Kephart and their son Michael, in Herndon. Miss Margaret Atkins of Winchester spent the weekend with her parents, Mr. and Mrs. Roadcap Atkins. Sunday Mrs. Atkins and Margaret were visitors of Mr. and Mrs Lacy Orange in Woodville. Miss Helen Craddock of Charlottesville was a luncheon guest Friday of Mrs. A. C. Latham and an afternoon visitor of Rev. and Mrs. John Hodge. Miss Carolyn Hodge is attending the Baptist Training Union held at Eagle Eyrie near Lynchburg this week. Teddy Hodge has been working for the summer at Eagle Eyrie. Mr. and Mrs. Berkley Turner of Front Royal were guests Sunday of Mr. and Mrs. Jesse Settle. Saturday guests of Mr.and Mrs. S. D. Hutton and Mrs. Frank Walter were Mr. and Mrs. Kenneth Ellison and family of The Plains. Sunday the Huttons were visitors of Mrs. Elizabeth Shumate in Front Royal.
