A graveside funeral service will be held at 2 p.m. today, Thursday, in the Etlan Cemetery for Robert Emory Leake, 23, of Sperryville, who eras the fatal victim of an automobile accident Tuesday, November 19. The Rev. H. W. Longfellow and the Rev. B. Gale Titchenell will officiate. Mr. Leake was employed as a mechanic with the Virginia Oak Tannery in Luray. He was a member of the Woodville Baptist Church. Survivors include his wife, Mrs. Joyce Jenkins Leake; a two week old son, Robert Kelt!} both of Sperryville; his mother, Mrs. Della Dodson Leake of Sperryville; his father, Elmer Leake of Culpeper; one sister, Mrs. Cletus Clarke, Sperryville. Pallbearers will be Charles Jenkins, Nathaniel Dodson, James Leake, F. D. Coffey, Lester Jenkins, David Anderson, Jr., Thomas Baldwin, Jr. Joe Cloud and Derrell Cloud. Clore Funeral Home te in charge of arrangements.
Birthday Dinner
Mrs. J. C. -Johnson was honored Saturday evening with a surprise birthday dinner at the home of Mr. and Mrs. Melvin Williams, Washington. Other guests were Mr.Johnson, Marvin Williams and Eugene Williams.
