Miss Mattie Rector Mr. and Mrs. Edward Martin and daughter of near Culpeper were supper guests Saturday of Misses Lillie and Nellie Johnson. The Misses Johnsons were Sunday dinner guests of Mr. and Mrs. C. B. Johnson. Mrs. E. W. Hechler of Richmond was a guest for several days last week of Mrs. R. M. Johnson. Mrs. Johnson returned home with Mrs. Hechler to spend the winter in Highland Springs. Mr. and Mrs. Reginald Gay of Norfolk are the guests of Mr. and Mrs. Lacy Orange. Visitors Sunday of Mr. and Mrs. Dudley Pullen were Mr. and Mrs. Roy Trout of near Culpeper. Mrs. Donald Woolf of Washington, D. C. was a caller Thursdajrof Miss Mattie Rettor and Mr. and Mrs. C. B. Johnson. Guests for the weekend of Mr and Mrs* Amos Butler were Mr. and Mrs. Winston Sibert and family of Takoma Park, Md. Sunday guests of the Butlers were Mr. and Mrs. Lewis Butler and family of McLean. Mrs. Rose Compton, who has been visiting the Amos Butlers returned home with the Lewis Butler family. Mr. and Mrs. W. B. Carter of Front Royal were Friday dinner guests of Mr. and Mrs. George Johnston and Mrs. C. E. Carter. Mrs. R. L. Payne was a guest Thursday of the Johnstons. Mrs. Will Butler returned home Monday after a visit with her son W11116 Butler near Culpeper. Mr. and Mrs. H. B. Wood, Jr. had as their guest Sunday Reuben Blanton of Amelia, a brother of Mrs. Wood.
