Recital Held for
Piano Students
Eleven piano students performed at a recital Sunday, May 2, at Woodville Baptist Church at 3 p. m. The pianists are students of Mrs. Patricia Skinner of Sperryville. On the program were Beth O’Bannon who played Holiday March; Janet Hackley, The Pleasant Peasant; Martha Lou O’Bannon, The Skywriter; Janet Payne, Down in the Valley; Mary Lynn Smelley, The Caissons Go Rolling Along; and Diane DeBergh, Valse Triste. Bobby T i t c h e n e 11 played Dancing on the Dyke; Bonnie Sue Dodson, America; Bobby Lee Smelley, the Puppet Danc^ Jean Payne, Bells are Ringing and Faith Skinner, The Snake Dance. The girls sextet from Rappahannock County High School, comprised of Dorothy Dodson, Judy Poling, Pat Settle, Alletta, Beebe, Nancy Lillard and Jeannie Smoot, accompanied by Ann Cannon at the piano sang several selections. About fifty parents and friends were in the audience.
Ham-Chicken Supper Af Amissville
The W.S.C.S. of Amissville Methodist Church will sponsor a ham and chicken dinner Saturday evening, May 15 beginning at 5 p.m. The dinner will be held at Amissville fire hall. Proceeds from the dinner will go toward the completion of the kitchen in the new addition to the church. Dinner will be $1.50 for adults and 75C for children under 12. — - ■■ ■ 1 *
