Mrs. Johnie Hackley was a visitor last Sunday afternoon of Mr. and Mrs. Jack Nicholson in Flint Hill. Wednesday Mr. and Mrs. Johnie Hackley and Charlie Hackley spent the day in Culpeper. Charles W. Settle entered University of Virginia Hospital, Charlottesville last Wednesday and underwent sufgery on Thursday. That afternoon he was visited by Mrs. Mae Settle of Castleton and Mrs. Johnie Hackley. Dinner guests Sunday of Mr. and Mrs. Nelson Burner were Mr. and Mrs. James Sealock of Falls Church, Mr. and Mrs. Johnie Hackley and Mike. Afternoon visitors were Diane and Janice Ney of Palmer Park, Md. and Lucinda Baldwin. Mrs. Sarah Latham and her mother, Mrs. C. C. Cockerill of Herndon were Saturday afternoon visitors of Misses Louise and Katie Anderson in Culpeper. In the evening they visited Mr. and Mrs. William Payne at Locust Shade. Mr. and Mrs. Tommy Fincham of Arlington were also weekend guests of Mrs. Latham and family. Billy Payne was an overnight guest Friday and Saturday of John Henry Williams. Mr. and Mrs. Nelson Burner and daughter Faye and Mrs. Johnie Hackley and Mike were in Richmond Friday evening to attend the wedding of Tihn Curtis to Robert Haymaker, and were overnight guests of Mr. and Mrs. Willard Hutto in Ashland. Mrs. Edward Schurtz and son of Springfield were overnight guests Saturday of her father C. A. Smith. Mr. and Mrs. Andrew Smith of Herndon were Saturday afternoon visitors of Mr. Smith. Mr. and Mrs. Ralph Rowzie and Miss Sandra Rowzie were in Richmond Sunday to visit Mrs. Minta Richardson and Mr. and Mrs. Floyd Richardson. They returned home by way of Fine Creek where they were guests of Mrs. T. B.
