Be Spilled?
It has often been observed, that to cause people to act on their convictions, and speak out against an unhealthy or dangerous condition, requires that some blood be spilled, which directly affects their personal lives. From my observations, there is an essence of truth in this statement. There seems to be a 'self-protecting' lethargy which afflicts humans, which is so convenient and natural to give in to, that we are lulled into the doing nothing! The threat of becoming involved and offending someone else, is so ‘painful* that we just hide from reality, and hope that the problem will ‘go away if we don't feed it'. If this is your philosophy of living, then read on. Man-made law says to you and to me as citizens living under the law: “Ignorance of the law is no excuse." You and I are held to know, or we suffer the consequences of being judged under the law. Likewise, reality in life says: “Being ill-informed, or unconcerned, does not provide immunity.
