Mrs. Lanell Wilbur of Slate Mills and Mrs. Eloise Weaver of Boston attended the banquet Saturday night and the breakfast on Sunday morning at the motel. About 500 women attended the convention. Col. and Mrs. George W. Childs of Springfield were Saturday "fevening guests of Mr. and Mrs. Olney Kennedy at Seven Springs Farm which was formerly owned by Col. Childs Their daughter Mary Sue Childs is a student nurse at Mary Washington College in Fredericksburg.
