Flower Arrangements
The results of many, many hours of skilled workmanship is being shown in .the lovely arrangements of dried flowers being made at Trinity Episcopal Parish House by the women of Bromfield Parish. These will be on display and sold there October 22 and 23 during their Annual House Tour and Dried Flower Arrangement Sale. * Three homes in. the area will be open for the Tour, Meadow Grove, home of Mr. and Mrs. James Fletcher Massie, on Route 729, south of Ben Venue on the Old Richmond Road; Peyton House, home of Mrs. William Meade Fletcher in Washington; and Greenback, home of Judge and Mrs. Thurmond Carlyle Lea, where tea will be served each afternoon of "the tour between 3 and 5 o’clock. A block ticket for the tour may be purchased for $1.50. Single home, $1.00. The homes will be open on Saturday, October 22 from 11 a.m. until 5 p.m. and on Sunday from 1 p.m. until 5. A box luncheon will be served at the town marker in Washington on both days by members of the First Baptist Church. On Saturday night a supper will be served at the Fire Hall in Flint Hill by the ladies of the Flint Hill Baptist and Methodist Churches.
Selective Service Has Forms For College Qual. Tests
Selective Service Local Boards have the bulletins and applications for tests to be given November 18 and 19, 1966. The deadline for postmark on application is October 21, 1966. Students who are interested get in touch with local board nearest you.
