'All 4-H Club officers are automatically members of the County Council. This group plans the over-all 4-H programs; establishes goals for the year etc. Also they elect their county 4-H officers. Fun and Goodies will be another important part of this event! Officers from the seventeen 4-H Clubs in Rappahannock will have a chance to meet and chat With each other. Mrs. Ritchie Colvin
Mrs. Ritchie Lawrence Colvin of Amlssvllle died October 11, 1966 at her residence. She was 78 years of age, the widow of Ernest Adams ''Colvin. She was the daughter of the late John M. Lawrence and Sarah C. Priest of Rappahannock. Mrs. Colvin is survived by one brother, John R. Lawrence, Amissville; one sister Mrs. Mary L. James, Warrenton and several nieces and nephews. A graveside service in the family cemetery will be held today, (Thursday) at 2 p.m. with Elder W. T. Daily of Luray officiating, Pallbearers will be Bernard Weaver, John Heflin, Lawrence James, William Lawrence, Haywood Colvin, Gilbert Lawrence, Mort Colvin and Truman Colvin. The family requests no flowers. Geest Funeral Parlors are in charge of arrangements.
