DEFENDANTS.
The object of this suit is to partition title to the lands of William J. Rutherford and Caroline V. Rutherford in the above-mentioned Bill of Complaint, to certain land in Wakefield Magisterial - District, Rappahannock County, Virginia, said land containing 14.7 acres, more or less, as more faff#- recited in snid Bill of Complaint! "
An affidavit having been made and filed that the following are not residents of the State of Virginia, and that the last known post office addresses are correctly set forth opposite their names listed below:
Carolyn Smoot Evans, Andalousia,
Illinois
Florence Rutherford Smith,
Princeton, West Virginia
And the Bill stating that there are or may be persons interested in the subject matter of this suit whose names are unknown and making them parties Defendant by the general description of parties unknown, at! affidavit having been made and filed that they nre unknown.
It is ordered that the suid nonresident Defendants, Carolyn Smoot Evans and Florence Rutherford Smith, and the said persons made Defendants by the general description “Unknown heirs, devisees, and successors in title, if such there be, and/or unknown parties” do appear within ten days after due publication of this order and do what is neccswuy t«, protect their interests.
It IS further ordered thut the foregoing portion of this order be published once a week for four successive weeks in the Rappahannock News, a newspaper having general circulation in the County of Rappahannock, Virginia, within ten days after the entry of this order of publication, and thut the Clerk mail a copy hereof, to each of the suid defendants at the post office adTHE
