It isn’t too soon for you 4H'ers to be thinking about sum mer activities and which ones you will want to participate in. May deadlines are already set for Senior 4-H Camp at James town and our 4-H Tour tc Washington. You will be hearing more about this during your May meetings.
********** Wf have been talking in our Home Demonstration meeting this month about the many uses of fabrics in home furnishings. Besides ordinary uses of curtains, rugs, slij covers, we are now finding more fabrics being used as pictures, wgll hangings, or in the place of wallpaper. Advantages of fabric replacing wallpaper are that it better coordinates furnishings in any one living area; it may be easier to care for as it has been treated and so can be washed with soap and water. To many the great disadvantage is the initial cost involved and also it may be tired of easily and further cost involved in redecorating. Despite this, however, more and more fabric will be used on walls in the coming years.
