County 4-H’ers
Compete in District
Susan Payne, Carter Moffett, Susan Dodson* and Warren Beebe participated in the District 4-H Demonstration Contests held at Madison on April 8. In view of the large number of entries, demonstra tions were given at the county extension office, the fire hall and the Madison high school. Susan Payne demonstrated the making of a Macaroni Salad thereby competing in the Foods and Nutrition area. Carter Moffett participated in the Dress Revue by modeling a suit she had made. Susan Dodson entered the Public Speaking Contest making a talk on “Citizenship" while Warren Beebe gave an illustrated talk on ^The Four Cycle Engine" in the Automotive iCare and Safety Project area. Competition in all areas was stiff. Although this was the
