Scout Car Wash in Sperryville Continues
Car washing by the Sperryville Boy Scouts will continue for the next three Saturdays at the Sperryville Barber Shop. Scout masters will be on hand to supervise the job. Reports have been good on the thorough cleaning job done on cars last week. Your cooperation is requested for this worthwhile project. Cars will be washed between the hours of 9 a.m. and 2 p.m.

Mr. and Mrs. Walter Jones of Esmont, Mrs. Christine Haney and son of Charlottes ville and Mrs. Maddox Tapp of Front Royal were dinner guests Sunday of Mr. and Mrs Herbert Lehman, Dr. Claude W. White of Rich mond was a visitor for several days last week of the Rev. and Mrs. Charles Kindred and family. Friday evening a group of young people of Amissville Baptist Church accompanied by Mr. Kindred and Stanley Settle attended Youth Night at Mt. Salefn Church near Culpeper.
Mrs. Diane Dietz of Washington, D.C. and John Walker Jenkins of Sperryville were Saturday evening visitors of Mrs. Sarah Latham and daughter Susan. Mr. and Mrs. William Swink and family who have been making their home in Woodbridge are visiting Mr. and Mrs.
