Mr. and Mrs. William Carrigan and nephew of Washington, D. C. spent the weekend and holiday at Avon Hall. Mrs. T. C. Lea, Jr. and three children were over night guests Monday of Mrs. Lea’s mother Mrs. Thomas Howie in Staunton. Miss Lucy Estes and Mrs. H. M. Keyser were visitors Wednesday in Winchester.
Mr. and Mrs. Albert Slaugh ter of Leesburg were Sunday guests of Mr. and Mrs. A. H. Keyser at The Oaks. Mr. and Mrs. Raymond Jenkins and four children of Suffolk were guests during the week-end of their parents Mrs. Alice Verner here and Mr. and Mrs. George Jenkins in Sperryville. Mrs. Verner and Mrs. Virgil Updike entertained their house guests and Mrs. Perle Coffey of Sperryville with a cook-out on Saturday.
Mrs. C. B. Palmer was an over-night guest Friday of her mother Mrs. J. A. Elmore in Arlington. Mrs. Charlie Burke of Lincroft, N. J. spent from Friday until Wednesday at her home on Blue Ridge Avenue. Mr. and Mrs. Robert Bridges and four daughters, Sharon Donna, Brenda and Pamela and Miss Jacqueline Sabini, all of Manassas, were Friday dinner guests of Mr. and Mrs. Ralph Styer. Miss Pamela Bridges and Miss Sabini remained as guests of theStyers until Sunday.
