June 26 - July 1, 4-H Club Congress at V.P.I. Blacksburg, Va. July 3-8, Jr. 4-H Club mem bers will be in camp at Holiday Lake 4-H Camp. July 3, 7:30 p.m. Amissville H.D. Club will hold its regular meeting at the Baptist Church. July 11, 10:00 a.nr. Training meeting on Choosing Color Schemes for the Home, with Miss Katherine Habel, Exten sion Home Furnishings Specialist. All H. D. Clubs will send a representative and any other organized group in the county is invited to send a representative.
*** Mrs. Dorothy C. Davis will be the guest speaker at the Amissville Home Demonstration meeting on July 3rd. In keeping with the tradition of July 4, Mrs. Davis will speak on the “History of Rappahannock”. Any interested person is invited to attend advises Mrs. Robert B. Settle, Amissville president.
