Horse Injures Boy
Russell Hawkins of Centrpville was injured by a horst which he was breaking at Pleasant Valley Stables there. He sustained injuries of the face and crushed nose. He is the 11 year old son of Mr. and Mrs. Jimmie Hawkins ofCentreville and the grandson of Otis Hawkins of Woodville and Clarence Wharton, Washington.

Mr. and Mrs. Lee Shaffer and daughter Linda of Warrenton were callers Sunday afternoon of Mr. and Mrs. Richard Gore. Fred Algers, Jr. was a visitor Thursday of Miss Alletta Beebe at the home of her parents Mr. and Mrs. George Beebe. He was enroute to his home in Berryville from a trip to Florida. Mr. and Mrs. Algers, Sr. were also recent callers of the Beebe family. Mrs. John B. Cloud is spending this week with her daughter Mrs. James Pullen and family in Manassas. Mrs. Otha Deal and Mrs. Raymond Hitt were recent visitors in Front Royal. Mrs. Deal and the Hitt family were Sunday callers of Mr. and Mrs. Henry Hitt. Miss Donna Cannon spent the weekend with her brotherin-law and sister Mr. and Mrs. Randolph Thornhill in Alexandria.
Among those attending 4-H short course this week in Blacksburg at V.P.I. are Ellis Smith, Warren Beebe and Aljletta Beebe.
Rickey Gore, son of Mr. and Mrs. Richard Gore, left Wednesday with his aunt, Mrs. Claude Cook, to spend the !summer in Niceville, Fla.
Turner Settle and Mr. and .Mrs. George Beebe and family spent Sunday in Manassas las the guests of Mr. and Mrs. Pete Settle. Cynthia Beebe remained for a longer visit.
