Mrs. Lily L. Hening
Mrs. Lily L. Hening, 79, wife of Sidney E. Hening of Sperryville, died Thursday June 22, 1967 at her home. Mrs. Hening was a life member of the Rappahannock Garden Club. In addition to her husband she is survived by one son, J. B. Hening of Alexandria, one daughter Mrs. Robin Stewart of Towson, Md., a grandson, Robert Stewart and granddaughter Patricia Stewart, of Towson, and one great-grand-1 daughter, A funeral service was held Saturday at 10 o’clock in the Trinity EpiscQpal Church, Washington, Va. conducted by the rector, the Rev. Charles F. Glaenzer with interment in Mt. Comfort Cemetery, Alexandria, Va. Pallbearers were Fred Schaefer, Lee Cornell, Charles Dodson, John R. Eubank, Jr., T. J. Pillar, Harry Trescott, Ch'arles H. Estes and Raymond Johnson. Clore Funeral Home was in charge of arrangements.
E. L. Glasker
Edward Lee Glasker, 50, ofLuray died Wednesday, June 21, 1967 at the home of his sister Mrs. Rosie Ella Hunter on the Sperryville Pike. He was the son of the late Charlie Glasker and the late Fannie Thompson of Woodville. He was employed at Page Memorial Hospital. Survivors include seven sisters and four brothers. A funeral service was held Sunday from the Shiloh Baptist Church in Woodville with the Rev. Willie Williams officiating. Interment was in the church cemetery. Pallbearers were Gilbert Noakes, John G. Hunter, Thomas Hopkins, Thomas Wigington, Thomas Glascoe, Arthur Carpenter, Tommy Jackson and Robert Hunter. Geest Funeral Parlors was in charge of arrangements.
