Bettie Lib Moffett and Miss Annie Cooksey. Mr. and Mrs. C. J. Miller and Mrs. W. C. Campbell were visitors Friday of Miss Belle Strother at the Royal. Haven Nursing Home in Front Royal. Mrs. W. C. Campbell’s nephew Travis Dudley of New Kent was the Sunday dinner guest of Mr. and Mrs. Campbell at Twinland. Miss Segar Jones of Westhampton College and Larry Sartoris of the University of Richmond were week-end guests of Miss Jones’ parents Mr. and Mrs. E. M. Jones at Delamore. Mrs. George H. Davis, jr. was the over-night guest Thursday of her daughter Miss Dorothy Taylor Davis at Madi son College. Mrs. Mamie Wrenn of Wash ington, D. C. was the guest Thursday night of her sister Miss Lucy Estes who returned to Washington with her for the week-end. She was accompani ed home on Sunday by Mrs. Wrenn, Mrs. Edwin Pearson and Mrs. Jim Pearson of Vienna. Mrs. G. W. Eastham, Mrs. L. J. Turner and Mrs. W. H. Massie, jr. were luncheon guests Sunday at the Caverns and Coach Restaurant in Luray.

Mrs. R. L. Cheatham and son Arthur Cheatham have re turned from an extended motor trip to New YorLNew England, Prince Edwards Island, and Campobello Island. Before returning home they also visited Mr. and Mrs. J. E, Keyser, jr in Williamsburg.

Ernest Lillard attended funeral services for his aunt Mrs. Leona Lillard Sunday in Martinsburg, W. Va. Mr. and Mrs. W. F. Moffett Jr. and Miss Carter Moffett visited their son and brother Page Moffett Sunday at the Uni versity of V i r g i n i a in Chap lottesville.

Mr. and Mrs. Robert Nethers and Mr. and Mrs. Nelson Nethers of Sperryville attended funeral services for Mrs. Judd Lillard Sunday in Martinsburg W. Va. Mrs. Lillard was a former resident of Flint Hill. Mr. and Mrs. J. G. Russell of Harrisonburg were weekend guests of Mrs. Thelma Russell and on Sunday visited Mrs. Mary Russell in Orlean. Visitors Tuesday of Mrs. Ida Trump were Mr. and Mrs. Stephen Tripp of Washington, D. C. and Mr. and Mrs. Lee Dickenson, enroute to their home in Daytona Beach, Fla. after spending the summer in Nova Scotia.
