Mrs. Mary Cleverley works at a loom in her home at Flint Hill weaving wool in a herringbone pattern. She was given the loom by Misses Anna May and Josephine Stambaugh of Washington, Va. Mrs. Cleverley went to Providence, R. I. where she took instruction on using the Nadeau loom. Mr. and Mrs. James Franklin Amory visited Mrs. Cleverley Tuesday and were very interested in her progress. Mr. Amory, a native of Flint Hill, is presently stationed at the American Consultate General, Frankfurt Am Main, Germany with the State Department as a! foreign service officer. Mrs. Amory, a native of France, now a U.S. citizen, learned weaving while they were stationed in Switzerland.
