buck and Mrs. Sam Dwyer visited Mrs. Dwyer’s son David on Sunday at the Children’s Rehabilitation Center in Charlottesville. He is much improved and plans to come home soon. Mr. Douglas Cornell spent :he weekend at his summer home “Boulder Lodge* in Broad Hollow and will be there for an indefinite time. Miss Lucille Brown, who has been a houseguest of Mr. and Mrs. R. E. Wood returned to her home in Virginia Beach on Tuesday. Mrs. Mary M. Quaintance was hostess at Cristy’s Restaurant in Front Royal on Saturday night. Her guests included Mr. and Mrs. Carroll Quaintance, Mr. and Mrs. H. B. Winfrey and Mrs. R. E. Wood. They also visited Miss Belle Strother at the Royal Haven Nursing Home in Front Royal. Mr. S. Hening, a former resident, is now residing with his son and daughter-in-law Mr. and Mrs. J. Burwell Hening at 1302 Warrington Place, Alexandria. Mrs. Margaret Dwyer spent last week with her son and daughter-in-law Mr. and Mrs. Harvey Dwyer in Springfield. Mr. and Mrs. Nelson Nethers and Mr. and Mrs. Robert Nethers of Flint Hill attended the funeral in Martinsburg, W. Va. of Mrs. Judd Lillard, a former resident of Rappahannock County.
